What Are Online Podiatry Consultations?

By using the Physitrack app, we’re able to provide personalised consultations to help diagnose and treat your condition. Via the app, we will be with you every step of the way, providing advice and instructions for personalised rehabilitation plans.

What Can We Treat via an Online Podiatry Consultation?

You’d be surprised at what we can assess and treat via an online Podiatry consultation. In fact, research suggests that online appointments can be just as effective as a traditional, hands-on consultations for a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions. Nothing is more frustrating than the vague information you receive from ‘Dr Google’. You are often left thinking you have got shin splints, cancer and a torn muscle all at the same time! Why use ‘Dr Google’ when you can talk to one of our experienced Podiatrists over your phone, tablet or PC to help diagnose and formulate a treatment plan that is tailored specific to your complaint and goals. All from the comfort of your own home or office!

Of course, there are some conditions that require hands on manual therapy, in which case we can arrange an appointment at one of our clinics as and when you are able to attend. Don’t live in Cairns or even Far North QLD? That’s perfectly fine! We can refer you to the appropriate specialists or doctors in your area if required.

Here are just a handful of conditions we are able to successfully treat via online consultations:

How Does An Online Podiatry Consultation Work?

We’ve managed to streamline our online Podiatry consultations so that it is a hassle-free and efficient process. The following explains this simple process.

  1. Click this link to put forward an expression of interest for an online Podiatry consultation and outline what type of issue you are requiring the appointment for e.g. heel pain.
  2. One of our friendly team members will contact you ASAP via your preferred form of contact (phone, email etc) to arrange a time that suits you. We will then talk you through the simple process of connecting to the free Physitrack app or the Physitrack website for the call. We will then process payment for the up-coming appointment.
  3. One of our experienced Podiatrists will contact you via the Physitrack app. We will then go through a thorough history of your current issue, diagnose what the likely causes/risk factors were and formulate a tailored treatment plan specific to your needs. This is the same process as a face-to-face consultation in one of our clinics except we are bringing our expertise into your home!
  4. After the completion of the consultation, your Podiatrist will then send you through a summary of our findings as well as any relevant exercise programs, information sheets etc.

It’s as simple as that!
